Position Sensitive Neutron Detectors for Chinese Academy of Sciences Spallation Project

The Chinese Academy of Sciences selected LND to supply 8 mm diameter detectors over a five year period with the first delivery in July of 2016.  LND worked closely with the lead scientists on the project that traveled to New York to witness the testing of all the critical parameters of the detectors, where the average position sensitivity was measured to be 6 mm.
